Give him a chance maybe your are just watching him to closely seeing only what he didn't do or finding something wrong with what he did that was good I have players I am like that with and he is still a kid this is the first game he will be in and Salvador out so maybe you notice something with Sal out that you hadn't with him in

I thought that since he was a high pick, he should just be amazing when he steps on the ice at ages 18-20 in the NHL

nah its just that we suck at drafting, i mean we cant even have the success of the oilers

To be honest when we drafted Larsson at number 4 and Couter was still there I was losing it but I have totally changed my opinion of Larsson and am more then happy we drafted him

i am shocked at how calm he is moving the puck out of the D zone even under pressure, he seems to make alot of good breakout passes, ones that our other D cant do or dont make, and makes it seem effortless

i also like how he has a very good deflectable shot, but the best thing (shot wise) i have seen is at his age he has been smart enough to "shoot" the puck "wide" but it being a pass for a tip in/deflection goal (hasnt worked all the time but you can see it there)

yes he has work to do, but the amount he has improved and just his hockey smarts are pretty nice for a dman at his age

yeah i know people may say hamilton and how he has more points etc this year (playing with chara) but i would take larsson almost every time

yeah i wanted a forward at the time as i felt we needed that more (before we knew about how well henrique would be) but i was never unhappy that we picked larsson

Exactly the other thing ppl forget to mention about Hamilton playing for Boston is he doesn't have to worry about someone Fcking with him or taking liberties with him he is very well protected where Larsson is less so but I don't think we are push overs but some of the big hits taken on him might not happen to Dougie because of who he plays for

Who knows Larsson's ceiling? He's going to get better every season because he's a smart guy. I'm looking forward to see the Devils' d-corps in the years to come. Hopefully we can get another good goaltender.

Well if he has his dad's eyes and competitiveness... it's a great foundation for a goaltender.

I'm just saying they should cause the draft in NJ this year and it would make for a good story. And seeing him and his dad at camp is kinda funny.

he is progressing, his stats dont show his play, he has been our best-2nd best defender (between him and greene) and has shown that he is getting better, he has improved from last season and his decision making is getting better

he isnt going to put up big numbers this season or prob next season, the devils arent a high scoring team and he has created a bunch of chances that could have and maybe should have gone in but we have no finish
